Santiago is an actor, writer, artist, and theater-maker.  He recently graduated summa cum laude with Honors in Theatre from New York University (NYU) Tisch School of The Arts, where he trained in the Experimental Theatre Wing, The Meisner Studio, and The Stonestreet Studios. He earned a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology at the Stern School of Business.

Santiago holds certifications from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA), and is a United Nations award-winning artist and speaker.

He has performed in a wide range of projects, including two seasons at Teatro en Corto (Último Día de Clases), a season at the Teatro Telón de Asfalto (Colorín...), and over 15 productions in New York—including Houselives, winner of the Gene Frankel Award for Best Play of the 2025 season. He has worked with Broadway directors such as Kate Whoriskey, Outer Critics Circle Award-nominated writers like Kate Douglas, award-winning actors such as Caroline Neff, and Emmy-nominated artists like Adrianna DiLiello.

He is passionate about physical work, movement, collaboration, and growth through process.

Originally from Mexico City, Santiago is also a fan of sharing meals with people he loves, an avid reader of philosophy, and a kid who deep down still dreams of being an Olympic diver.
